Where our Neapolitan pizza comes from

From day one, our purpose at La Trattoria has been clear: to share with Tarifa the most authentic Neapolitan pizza tradition. Inspired by the culinary roots of southern Italy, we started this journey with a wood-fired oven and a passion for handmade food that is still at the heart of everything we do.

Every pizza we serve tells a story. We use carefully selected ingredients, follow time-honoured techniques and give the dough the time it needs. No shortcuts: just flavour, texture and an experience for people who appreciate things done properly.

We returned here several times during our long stay in Tarifa as the pizza was truly exceptional and probably some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were always super welcoming and lovely and even recognised us on our second visit! I will dream about the bombazza pizza, which if you’re a ricotta lover like me, is simply a must, given the crust stuffed with beautiful ricotta.
